A shuttle bus resembling a steam locomotive can take guests from the inn to the observation deck on the mountain summit. (A fee is required to ride the shuttle bus.) The Okuhagi Observation Deck provides a panoramic view of the historical city of Hagi! You can see not only Hagi itself but the islands in the Sea of Japan, and you can observe the city lights at night after watching the sun set below the horizon — all the while enjoying an onsen foot bath.
