See the scenery of Hagi from the sea and the rivers by pleasure boat
The Hagi Hakkei Tour Boat follows a 40-minute round-trip route. The tour starts from the Shizukibashi Bridge, passes by the canal near the Hagi Castle Ruins, enters the main stream of the Hashimotogawa River and returns to the starting point.
This tour boat offers passengers the sight of the residences once inhabited by samurai in the Horiuchi and Hiyakono Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Passengers can listen to the boatman’s explanation of the sites (in Japanese), whilst enjoying interesting aspects of the town from aboard the pleasure boat.
Due to various circumstances, the Hagi Sightseeing Boat (Hagi Hakkei Yūransen)will be suspended from August 15, 2024. Cruise will resume from September 14, 2024.
